About the role
Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care across various specialties, coordinating patient care, addressing operational issues, and serving as a resource for staff.
Responsibilities: Coordinates quality nursing services for patients from birth through the lifecycle, communicates patient and departmental information, and supports staff guidance and assistance.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Valid Georgia RN license or multistate licensure.
Certifications
- Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and specialty-specific certifications.
- Additional certifications may be needed based on the department, such as TNCC, ENPC, or labor/delivery certifications.
Key Skills: Effective communication, clinical expertise, leadership, ethical practice, cultural competence, and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams.
All candidates must maintain current certifications and develop expertise in their specialty areas, with ongoing education to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.
