Role Overview Provide and coordinate high-quality nursing care for patients across all age groups, addressing clinical and operational needs during shifts. Act as a resource for staff guidance, communicate patient and departmental information, and assist in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to patient needs.
- Manage operational issues and staffing concerns during shifts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Serve as a resource for staff guidance and patient care support.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Valid RN license for the relevant state and/or multistate licensure.
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP.
- Additional specialty certifications such as AWHONN Fetal Monitoring and PEARS are required.
- Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified.
