Role Overview Coordinates delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical care when needed. Acts as a resource for staff, communicates patient and departmental updates, and addresses staff concerns.
Key Responsibilities Ensure safe and effective nursing care, facilitate communication among team members, assist clinical staff, and resolve operational issues promptly, maintaining optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of a nursing program (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting (required); 2+ years preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state; BLS certification (required)
- Advanced specialty certification, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, and PEARS certification (required)
- Experience in emergency or surgical services with pediatric care is advantageous
