About the role
We are seeking a forward-thinking Chair for the Musculoskeletal Service Line in Orthopedics, responsible for leading clinical, educational, and research programs across multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites.
Key Duties Include
- Providing strategic leadership and operational management to ensure high-quality patient care, research, and education
- Overseeing resource allocation, personnel, and facilities to optimize clinical and research missions
- Collaborating with system leaders, physicians, and hospital administrators to develop and implement strategic initiatives
- Driving practice protocols, clinical program development, and community outreach to enhance the service line's reputation and growth
- Recruiting, mentoring, and maintaining physician and staff excellence, including succession planning
- Leading performance improvement, quality assurance, and patient experience initiatives
- Transforming the service line into a Musculoskeletal Institute and expanding academic and research activities
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven leadership in orthopedic or musculoskeletal care with strong strategic vision
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and emotional intelligence skills
- Experience in clinical operations, research growth, and program development
- Ability to promote innovation, transparency, and mission alignment
