Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
DIHO CONSULTING USA is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support quality control for equipment fabrication, repairs, and modifications. This role will help ensure all welding work meets company standards and applicable codes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of welds on equipment and fabricated components
- Ensure welds meet quality standards, safety requirements, and job specifications
- Review basic welding procedures and verify proper application
- Document inspection results and maintain clear records
- Work closely with shop personnel, welders, and management to address any issues
- Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
Requirements:
- Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Experience in a shop, fabrication, or equipment environment
- Ability to read basic blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Experience working with heavy equipment, structural components, or repair work
