About the role
Tower Health, a regional healthcare system, serves communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania. Positions Available:
- FT (5) 8-hour shifts M-F; on call & holiday rotation
- FT (3) 12-hour shifts M-F; on call & holiday rotation
**Candidate must live within 30 minutes from Phoenixville Hospital**
- Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
- Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
- Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.
- The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Education Requirements
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree
Certification and Licensure
- BLS Certification
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT (New grads must obtain within 6 months of graduation) or has been employed to practice surgical technology according to House Bill 81
Experience:
- Minimum 1-year Surgical Technologist Experience
