Job Title: SPT (Sterile Processing Tech)
Locations : Boston, Jamaica Plain, MA.
Work Arrangement: On-site.
Employment Type: Contract.
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable).

Pay Rate: $32/hr to $39/hr.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position is Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation of once a month.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization, and regulatory requirements.
- Processes specialty and general instruments.
- Resets instrument sets without error, decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
- Maintains Central Sterile Department stock levels.
- Prepares and assembles surgical trays and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
- Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.
