This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist provides anesthesia care in the operating room for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the general supervision of an anesthesiologist. This role involves preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up, functioning as a patient advocate, confidant, advisor, and liaison among patients, families, and physicians.
