About This Role

This role involves caring for patients as a certified nurse-midwife within a large private healthcare company dedicated to reproductive health. You will work in a seamless partnership with OB/GYN physicians and a team of specialists, contributing as a respected clinician and leader. The position suits a kind, collaborative, and open-minded individual who values team-based patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients experiencing pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and parenting
• Offer contraception, gynecology, and wellness care across the lifespan
• Work in seamless, parallel partnership with OB/GYN physicians
• Contribute as a respected clinician and leader
• Share compassion with patients during vulnerable times

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in nursing from an accredited school of nurse-midwifery
• Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges (NP-PP Nurse Midwife)
• Current national certification as a Nurse Midwife
• Current CPR certification

Nice to have:

• Intrapartum work experience
• C-Section/First Assist in surgery experience
• Skill in case management, time management, problem solving, crisis intervention, and multi-tasking in a team care environment
