About This Role

This Certified Nurse Midwife position is for an experienced and passionate individual to join a supportive and collaborative OBGYN and Midwifery team. The role involves providing a full scope of midwifery duties suitable for a rural setting, working closely with OBGYNs, midwives, and a women's health nurse practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide women's health and family planning services
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for patients on the midwifery caseload
• Deliveries in the birth center, emphasizing physiologic birth and patient choice
• Work clinic days plus shared calls

Requirements

• Nurse Midwifery Certification
• Current Vermont RN and APRN license (or ability to obtain)
• Current Vermont DEA (or ability to obtain)
• BLS through the AHA
