About the role
Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
for the Anesthesiology department at a medical center. The role involves providing anesthesia services across a broad adult surgical case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, GYN, GI, thoracic, neuro, ENT, and OB, with OB experience preferred but not required.
The CRNA will work within a 1:3 MD supervision model, supporting hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings, with occasional float coverage to a partner facility. No cardiac or pediatric cases are involved.
The position offers a predictable shift schedule with no call, including 8- and 10-hour shifts, and optional 12-hour OB shifts. Weekend coverage is preferred but flexible.
The role requires active CA CRNA license, BLS, ACLS, and preferably PALS. The contract starts ASAP for 3 months with possible extension, offering all-inclusive pay, housing/travel, and a location near Sacramento, Napa, Lake Tahoe, and Bay Area attractions.
The ideal candidate has experience with adult anesthesia cases and working in a supervised care team.
