About the role
The role of the Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) is to support daily operations in a urology clinic by providing administrative and direct patient care .
Key responsibilities include
- rooming patients, collecting medical histories, assisting with procedures, and managing documentation
- coordinating patient care, scheduling, verifying benefits, and facilitating referrals
- performing office procedures such as urine catheterizations, bladder scans, and suture removal
- administering medications, assisting with office-based procedures, and processing specimens
- ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient service
Qualifications require
- certification as CMA or RMA from recognized bodies
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- high school diploma or GED
- relevant healthcare experience preferred
