About This Role

This role involves providing verbatim reporting of judicial and administrative proceedings, ensuring accurate and timely transcripts are produced as required by law. It suits a certified court reporter with experience in a courtroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide verbatim reporting of judicial and administrative proceedings
• Provide accurate and timely transcripts of court proceedings as required by law
• Maintain notes and recordings of all reported court proceedings, identifying records by date, judge, case title and other identifying information
• Maintain all exhibits admitted into evidence in any reported proceeding

Requirements

• Licensed and certified by the state of Georgia
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in court reporting in a courtroom setting

Nice to have:

• Certification by a national court reporting organization
• Experience with the use of digital court reporting equipment
