Class A CDL Company Driver – Home Daily MON-FRI

Pay & Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $29.00 - $31.00/hr (Based on shift)
- Overtime: Time-and-a-half paid after 40 hours
- Weekly Average: $1,160 - $1,700
- Annual Average: $60,000 - $88,000
- Frequency: Paid weekly
Shift Options & Pay Breakdown
- 8:00 AM Start: $29.00/hr (Approx. 5:00 PM–6:00 PM finish)
- 10:00 AM Start: $29.00/hr (Approx. 7:00 PM–8:00 PM finish)
- 2:00 PM Start: $30.00/hr (Finish varies by workload, 10:00 PM–Midnight)
- 6:00 PM Start: $31.00/hr (Runs 8–10 hours per shift)
- All shifts run Monday through Friday. Work weeks average 40–50 hours.
Job & Route Details
- Home Time: Daily
- Hiring Area: Must live within a 30-mile radius of Minneapolis, MN
- Operating Lanes: MN, ND, SD, IA, & WI (Longest daily runs are 300 miles)
- Starting Point: Pick up preloaded trailers at the Minneapolis distribution center
- Freight Type: Primarily dry van for regional furniture retail accounts
- Touch Freight: None. Combination of drop-and-hook and live unloads (90% drop-and-hook on night shifts). Customer handles all unloads.
Equipment & Parking
- Fleet: Volvos and Freightliners
- Transmission: 100% Automatic trucks (No manual restrictions)
- Speed: Governed at 72 mph (Transitioning to 65 mph soon)
- Parking: Secure, onsite personal vehicle parking at the Minneapolis terminal
Requirements
- Experience: 12 months of recent, verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
- License: Valid Class A CDL
Onboarding & Training
- Orientation: 2 days (Starts Tuesdays at 9:00 AM)
- Training: 2–3 days with a trainer (Includes demountable container training)
- Orientation/Training Pay: Paid at full hourly shift rate
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 12 months of recent, verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
- License: Valid Class A CDL
General Description of Benefits: Drivers will be eligible for medical, dental, and eye care starting 1 month after the 1st of the month they have started (i.e. starts January 22nd, benefits will start March 1st).
