Catering Manager

About This Role

This full-time Catering Manager position involves overseeing all catering operations for events, ensuring high-quality food and service delivery. The role requires collaborating with clients, managing staff, and planning diverse menus with chefs, while maintaining budgetary oversight and compliance with health and safety standards. It suits a motivated and detail-oriented individual dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences
• Plan and execute catering services for various events
• Develop and customize menus in collaboration with chefs
• Hire, train, and manage catering staff
• Schedule staff and assign duties for events
• Monitor budgets and control costs to ensure profitability
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
• Handle on-site problem solving during events
• Promote catering services and build client relationships

• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Work some weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must be able to pass a TSA background check to receive an airport badge
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual
