About the Role

As a Catering Attendant, you will assist with food preparation, meal service and dining room operations while supporting residents to enjoy a positive and engaging mealtime experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Taking resident meal orders and supporting meal choice
• Delivering exceptional dining and hospitality service
• Monitoring resident meal intake and reporting concerns
• Maintaining food safety, infection control and hygiene standards
• Supporting special events, celebrations and catering functions
• Using catering software and documentation systems
• Maintaining kitchen and dining areas to a high standard

About You

You are someone who:

• Enjoys working with older people
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
• Has experience in hospitality, catering, food service or aged care
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understands food safety and infection control principles
• Is reliable, professional and passionate about quality service

Highly Desirable

• Experience in aged care, healthcare or hospitality
• Food Safety or Food Handler Certificate
• Certificate II in Hospitality or Health Services
