The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description
- Business owner of a Product Category in Shopee
- End-to-end responsibility of P&L, growth, and customer experience of the category
- Holds Average Daily Order and Average Daily GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Define, implement and execute the business development/growth strategy for the category
- Strong data fluency & analytical skills in driving decisions and commercial strategies
- Continuously analyse the internal and external environment to ensure that the Category under management remains highly competitive in relation to the market
- Hire, train and manage a team of Key Account Managers to help grow and manage your portfolio of merchants
- Retain and optimise key account relationships to drive the overall performance of the Category
- Identify, establish and grow other local strategic partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field, with at least 7 years of working experience
- Prior working experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, and e-commerce is a plus
- Experienced in management and leadership roles
- Passionate in coaching, mentoring and team management
- Highly analytical and able to generate meaningful and actionable analysis; Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong business acumen and commercial savviness
