Experience:5 to 7 years of experience in Casting with Catia V5/V6
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify 3D models of cast components using CATIA V5 .
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings in CATIA V5 as per customer standards.
- Apply GD&T and dimensional tolerances in accordance with applicable standards.
- Interpret engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECN) and update CAD models and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with design quality, drafting standards, and release procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve design-related issues.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams during product development.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting).
- Strong experience in 3D Modeling of cast components.
- Experience in 2D Drawing Creation using CATIA V5.
- Good knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
- Understanding of casting manufacturing processes and design considerations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
