Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Assist with inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to keep the sales floor well-organized
- Demonstrate strong communication skills by engaging bilingual customers effectively and maintaining professional phone etiquette
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is a plus
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts
- Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising techniques enhances customer interactions
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service in a lively retail environment
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
