Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Infor POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer experience.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including kitchen equipment, counters, and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in food handling procedures, ensuring proper sanitation and compliance with health regulations.
- Support food service operations by serving customers promptly and courteously in a quick-service or fast-food environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Infor POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in quick-service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is advantageous.
