We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier/Cooks to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively sell products and services.
- Assist customers in locating products within the store and provide recommendations as needed.
- Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate pricing and discounts during transactions.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance the shopping experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience operating a cash register or POS system.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail sales calculations.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
