About the role
Assisting Hands is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to help our clients live safely and independently in their own homes. If you take pride in giving people dignity and quality care, we'd love to have you on our team.
This is a non-medical caregiving role. STNAs and CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply!
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care support: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Prepare meals and provide companionship
- Perform light housekeeping to keep the home safe and clean
- Help clients move safely around their home (transfers, mobility support)
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of hands-on caregiving experience
- Ability to work independently and confidently from your first shift
- Great communication skills and a genuine, caring attitude
- Familiarity with best practices in caregiving
- Hoyer lift experience is a big plus!
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation (required for client transport)
- Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement for transporting clients)
- Able to safely assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.
