About the role
Seeking a caregiver for a client recovering from a hip fracture, located in Columbus, TX.
2-3 days a week.
Will be a temporary position.
$15/hour. Hours tbd.
Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Rosenberg, you will be responsible for offering compassionate and personalized care to our clients in their homes. You will collaborate closely with a small team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. This is a remote position, providing you with the flexibility to deliver care from a distance while taking part in an impactful mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to clients, including assistance with daily activities like bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Medication Reminders and monitor clients’ health as per care plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team to discuss progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay updated with best practices in caregiving.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Past experience as a caregiver. (not required)
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus!
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate clients’ needs.
- Must have a valid driver's licenses.
- Must have your own reliable and insured vehicle.
- Professional References
- Must be able to pass national background check.
Bonus If You:
- Have experience in providing care to individuals with disabilities.
- Possess first aid and CPR certifications. (must obtain 30 days after first shift)
- Are familiar with using technology for remote caregiving services such as Axiscare. (will walk through if need be)
