Caregiver

About This Role

Caring for seniors and adults who need extra assistance with daily living activities is the core of this part-time caregiver role. You will provide personalized and compassionate in-home care, collaborating closely with clients and their families to help them maintain independence. The role offers flexibility to adapt your schedule based on client needs and your availability, with shifts available across days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule
• Assist with mobility and transfer, including support for walking and getting in and out of bed
• Provide transportation and run errands for clients as needed
• Support clients with their daily activities and promote a safe and comfortable home environment

Requirements

• Compassionate and dependable nature
• Strong communication skills to engage with clients and their families
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home setting
• Reliable transportation to assist clients effectively
• Ability to meet applicable background check requirements

Nice to have:

• Speak additional languages to better assist diverse clients
