About This Role
This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses. This role involves supporting users in elderly care facilities, offering a high-standard environment for care staff. It allows for a good work-life balance by accommodating various lifestyles.
Responsibilities
- Assist users who require support, including supervision to prevent injuries
- Provide physical care such as meal assistance, bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer and mobility assistance, and changing clothes
- Provide living assistance including cleaning, changing bed sheets, and health checks
- Plan and implement recreational activities, take users for walks in the neighborhood, and assist with functional training
- Perform administrative tasks such as filling out records and confirming handovers
