Role Overview The Caregiver is responsible for providing hands-on support to residents, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through assistance with daily activities and building meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
- Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document any changes
- Promote safety, dignity, and independence of residents
- Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
- Support dining services and ensure a clean, welcoming environment
- Effectively communicate with residents' families and care team members
- Create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss in Memory Care settings
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
