Care Assistant (Plus)

About This Role

This role involves providing the right support to create a pleasant home environment for the elderly, particularly in psychogeriatric (PG) departments. It suits a Care Assistant who can give residents individual attention and focus on what they can still do, with opportunities for further training to become a Care Assistant Plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to residents (showering, washing, dressing, eating)
• Pay attention to residents and respond to their needs
• Recognize and report symptoms or specific behavior in residents for better care
• Administer medication and perform other reserved actions (for Care Assistant Plus)

Requirements

• Mbo-2 (Care & Welfare with ADL) diploma
• Minimum of internship experience (with ADL) and affinity for elderly care

Nice to have:

• Mbo-recognized Care Assistant Plus certificate
