About the role
Role: Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures.
Responsibilities: Assist in preparing, performing, and completing procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy, thrombectomy, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella, under physician supervision. Ensure patient care aligns with hospital policies, practice safety guidelines, and foster teamwork through effective communication and flexibility.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience. Current CVT or RTR credentials, ACLS, and BLS certifications are required; RCIS certification must be obtained within six months. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with flexible hours.
Skills & Attributes: Proficiency with advanced cardiovascular equipment, excellent communication, teamwork, organizational skills, and adaptability to varied work hours and shifts.
Additional Details: Full-time position with benefits, requiring 80 hours per pay period, Monday-Friday, with variable hours and on-call responsibilities. Located at a major medical campus, with a focus on patient safety and collaborative care.
