About the role
Role Overview: The Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) performs various cardiac tests including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, and cardiac doppler.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts tests at multiple locations, maintaining accurate patient logs and updating charges in the system.
- Maintains patient files and ensures proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Requires RDCS certification and an Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency.
- No prior experience necessary; preferred candidates have 2+ years of related experience and CPR certification.
- Ability to perform diverse cardiac assessments and maintain detailed records.
Additional Details: The role involves day shift work (Monday-Friday), with extra pay for weekend call rotations. The position welcomes new graduates and experienced sonographers alike.
