About the role
The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience. They operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols such as ALARA. Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient safety and comfort, administering contrast agents, and accurately reviewing and documenting images in RIS/PACS systems. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent , completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience , and certifications including ARRT - R , ARRT - CT , and BLS . The technologist must also maintain infection control standards, respond to emergencies, support departmental workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance.
