Support Patients Through Expert Pharmacy Care
At Giant Eagle Pharmacy, we believe pharmacists are more than medication experts, they are trusted healthcare professionals who help patients navigate their care with confidence. As a Call Center Pharmacist, you will provide clinical expertise and medication guidance to patients while supporting our pharmacy operations across our network.
In this role, you will help ensure patients receive accurate information, safe medication guidance, and timely support. This position offers the opportunity to combine clinical knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving to improve patient outcomes and support our pharmacy teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide medication counseling and clinical support to patients via phone and other communication channels
- Answer prescription related questions, medication therapy inquiries, and pharmacy service questions
- Support pharmacy teams by verifying prescriptions for accuracy (data verification) and completing drug utilization review (DUR) of prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, company policies, and patient safety standards
What You Bring:
- Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain medication information clearly to patients
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service
- Ability to problem solve and manage multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Team oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills
