Job Profile Summary

The Cafeteria worker sets out, serves and receives payment for food in the Cafeteria; maintain sanitary, orderly, and attractive surroundings according to regulatory scope and standards of hospital policies and procedures protocol. 1. (5%) Set out and restock the prepared food. 2. (5%) Serves prepared food to customers. 3. (50%) Runs cash register, receives payment for meals, and is responsible for counting opening and closing cash drawer ensuring less than $5 discrepancy. 4. (10%) Stock and maintains supplies and condiments. 5. (10%) Clean and maintain sanitary conditions where customers dine. 6. (15%) Respond to visitor and staff requests for assistance using a high level of customer service skills. 7. (5%) Effectively operates dish machine to insure proper sanitation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$18.29 - $25.25

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
