Job Summary
AtWork Personnel is currently hiring an experienced Café Cook. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who enjoys preparing high-quality breakfast and lunch items in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining excellent food quality and kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock workstations before each shift.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory levels.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining accuracy.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and utensils.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment is required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
