We are currently looking for a CAE Crash Safety Analysis Engineer with expertise in High-Speed Crash Front Structure Analysis to join a highly skilled safety engineering team focused on developing next-generation vehicle safety performance.
About the Assignment
As a CAE Crash Safety Analysis Engineer, you will contribute to the development of advanced vehicle safety systems through virtual crash simulations and structural analysis. You will play a key role in evaluating and improving crashworthiness performance, helping ensure products meet legal requirements, safety ratings, and internal safety targets.
Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you will perform advanced finite element simulations, analyze virtual and physical test results, and support the development of innovative crash safety solutions for future vehicle programs.
Main Responsibilities
As a CAE Crash Safety Analysis Engineer, you will:
- Develop and maintain virtual CAE simulation models for crash analysis.
- Perform advanced crash simulations and evaluate structural performance under high-speed impact scenarios.
- Analyze results from both virtual simulations and physical crash testing.
- Support the development of technical solutions and simulation methodologies.
- Contribute to improving vehicle crashworthiness and occupant safety performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives and safety targets.
- Participate in continuous development of CAE methods, processes, and tools.
- Support engineering decision-making with data-driven analysis and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within CAE crash analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with:
- LS-DYNA
- ANSA
- META Post
- Proven experience in crash safety development within the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in front structure development for high-speed crash requirements.
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes.
- Experience with:
- Teamcenter
- VisMockup
- CATIA
- Programming or scripting experience using:
- Python
- MATLAB
- Other automation tools and scripting languages
