Location: Brooklyn Center, MN
Hours: 7am-4pm
What You’ll Do As a CAD Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our design process, transforming architectural visions into detailed, buildable models using SolidWorks . You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to bring projects from concept to fabrication.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Interpreting architectural and structural drawings to capture design intent and attachment conditions.
- Collaborating with sales and project managers to develop preliminary and shop drawings.
- Creating and revising engineering and fabrication drawings that guide our production teams.
- Coordinating with field managers to incorporate real-world measurements and feedback.
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines with precision and professionalism.
- Troubleshooting design challenges and contributing to innovative solutions.
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in architectural technology, engineering, or equivalent CAD experience.
- 2–3 years of SolidWorks experience, especially with assemblies and weldments.
- Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
