Cable Technician

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cable Technician (required)
• Fiber experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently without full training
• Must have reliable transportation (preferred: own vehicle)
• Must have own tools and equipment (ladder, meter, basic install tools preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to start immediately
• Must be authorized to work as a 1099 independent contractor

Responsibilities:

• Perform cable installations, service calls, trouble calls, and reconnects
• Diagnose and resolve signal and service issues
• Install, replace, and configure equipment as needed
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch teams
• Accurately submit job notes, photos, and closeout documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and quality standards
