Job Title: CA Gen Migration Architect / Lead Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Type: Contract
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on CA Gen experience .
- Strong experience with:
- CA Gen
- Broadcom Gen
- COOL
- Strong understanding of the CA Gen runtime framework .
- Strong knowledge of CA Gen model internals .
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot CA Gen-generated COBOL code .
- Proven experience with at least one successful CA Gen migration or modernization initiative .
- 5+ years of COBOL software development experience .
- Strong understanding of legacy application architecture and modernization concepts .
- Senior-level engineering or architecture experience .
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Java
- C# / .NET
- AWS
- Mainframe modernization
- Application re-platforming
- Migration of COBOL/mainframe applications to modern distributed or cloud-based architectures
