Details : 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate : $25.00 – 27.50/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary Seeking a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to support NPI and CPI sourcing initiatives through supplier management, procurement execution, and cross-functional project support. This role will lead sourcing activities, evaluate supplier performance, negotiate commercial agreements, and collaborate with engineering, planning, and program teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing activities supporting NPI and CPI programs.
- Evaluate, select, and develop suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and performance.
- Manage purchase orders, quotations, bids, and supplier contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and sourcing agreements.
- Resolve supplier performance, quality, and delivery issues.
- Partner with engineering, planning, and project teams to support business objectives.
- Analyze supplier proposals, cost data, and sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Years Of Experience And Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience considered.
- Internship experience may be considered.
