Buyer / Senior Buyer

Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage SPF growth, Profit and Loss, and ending inventory.
• Develop merchandising plans based on sales analysis and market trends.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to create an open-to-buy plan, considering financial figures and stock requirements.
• Work closely with the Design team to develop market-appealing merchandise.
• Improve buying accuracy by optimizing category percentage, style selection, color ratio, and assortment plans.
• Monitor sales performance through visual merchandising, merchandise arrangement, and promotional activities.
• Analyze product performance using weekly sales reports and take necessary actions.
• Coordinate with the Production team on merchandise quality and costing.
• Determine discount rates and pricing during discount periods.
• Forecast sales demand during discount periods.
• Meet company requirements for sales budget, gross profit, and buy mix percentage.
• Review and endorse the buy plan before submission.
• Provide timely product evaluations and participate in judging panels.

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Fashion Retailing, Statistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in buying areas, preferably from the Fashion Retail industry.
• Strong business acumen with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a proven buying track record.
• Result-driven mindset with a willingness to take ownership and execute tasks.
• Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese is a must).
