Buyer/ Senior Buyer

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze new materials and part inventory requests and associated requirements and timely placement of Purchase Orders to suppliers.
• Prevent out of stock conditions by analysis of historic data for usage, order frequency and lead-time.
• Expedite deliveries and conduct follow-up procedures as required. Resolve purchase order/contract difference with suppliers. Resolve quality and/or term differences with suppliers. Monitors supplier performance.
• Follow up on supplier claims and corrective actions and ensure closure on-time.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain agreement on specifications, quality expectations, price, delivery and other terms.
• Follow-up with internal (process, warehouse, incoming QC) and external (suppliers, contractors) personnel on all quality and supply related matters for materials in respective sections including line fallouts.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
• Able to manage purchase orders and annual contracts in compliance with company policies.
• Understanding of purchasing, commercial, and contract management practices.
• Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and other business systems.
• Strong written communication, grammar, and documentation skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
