About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement Professional with strong expertise in large-scale IT category sourcing and procurement. The ideal candidate should have managed end-to-end procurement activities for IT Infrastructure, Telecom, Hardware, Software, Services, and Outsourcing categories within large enterprise environments.
Candidates from Banking, Financial Services, Telecom, or Global MNC environments will be highly preferred. Experience with organizations such as Roche, Vodafone, or reputed banking institutions will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across IT & Telecom categories.
- Develop sourcing strategies and execute RFQ/RFP/RFI processes.
- Drive vendor selection, evaluation, and supplier performance management.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract finalization.
- Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, spend analysis, and benchmarking.
- Manage procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract execution and purchase order management.
- Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and suppliers to ensure procurement objectives are met.
- Drive procurement productivity through e-sourcing and procurement tools.
- Support category planning, demand management, and procurement governance.
- Identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities across IT spend categories.
Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in IT Category Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.

Proven experience managing large procurement spends and enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives.

Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience.

Expertise in RFP/RFQ processes and commercial evaluations.

Experience with SAP and procurement platforms (Ivalua knowledge would be an advantage).

Advanced Excel and analytical skills.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience in large-scale IT category procurement
- Candidates from Banking Industry preferred
- Candidates from companies like Roche, Vodafone, or other reputed global enterprises preferred
- Experience handling strategic IT sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier governance
- Strong exposure to enterprise procurement systems and sourcing tools
Education
- Master's Degree / MBA in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline.
