About This Role

This buyer role is responsible for driving business growth in both domestic (MACN) and overseas exporting markets (GmbH) by managing the entire supplier lifecycle. It involves scouting, evaluating, and sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and implementing sourcing strategies while also mentoring suppliers in commercial, quality, and delivery aspects.

Responsibilities

• Drive TG/MFR business growth in the domestic market (MACN) and overseas exporting business (GmbH)
• Conduct supplier scouting, evaluation, and sourcing decisions with cross-functional teams for CN and overseas markets
• Conduct RFQ, COQ, and negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive PPC levels to support the business
• Perform annual price negotiation preparation and implementation to achieve targets
• Implement sourcing strategy in accordance with BU and regions
• Act as a supplier mentor for supplier management, including commercial, quality, and delivery views

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical, electronic, vehicle engineering, or Supply Chain-related education
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Automotive
• Direct purchasing experience of automotive aftermarket, electronics parts experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of cost analysis, data-driven decision making, implementation of cost-saving measures, and negotiation skills with suppliers
• Project Management skills
• Basic Finance knowledge
• Cooperation and execution skills
• Good communication skills with cross-functional teams
• Experience in supplier management and communication
• Good supplier mentorship, can lead and manage suppliers independently
• Good communication in both Chinese and English language, verbal and writing
• Pro-active, self-leading, willing to take challenging tasks
