About This Role
This role is for a Busser who will maintain a clean and organized dining environment, assist servers, and ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Quickly and carefully assist servers with cleaning dirty tables, taking plates, utensils, and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed
- Quickly clean and reset dirty tables as per company standards, including observing tables and keeping track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
- Pre-bus and bus tables as needed, including sweeping the floor
- Maintain an outgoing personality and be consistently friendly with excellent communication skills
- Be utilized as a food runner and safely carry and balance several plates of food at one time with a good pace
- Clearly communicate with guests and with servers, bartenders, and/or a manager regarding any concerns or problems with a guest, such as a long ticket time, an incorrect food item, or an undesirable item
- Refill all non-alcoholic drinks for guests and clearly communicate with servers in the event that a guest requests a food or beverage item
- Maintain a consistent positive attitude, handle stress well, and maintain a quick pace and the desire to have fun at work
- Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and other dining room needs
- Provide best-in-class service
- Approach all tables with a warm, outgoing approach and correctly issue all food and beverage items to guests
- Create regulars by interacting with guests throughout their dining experience
- Interact regularly with seated guests to attend to any needs that the server may have missed or that the guest needs
