About This Role
This Business Support Manager position is a varied and exciting role for someone who thrives on ownership and variety within a growing business. The person will become the operational backbone of the company, acting as an office manager, personal assistant to the Director, and customer service lead.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure everything runs smoothly
- Implement and improve processes and systems across the business
- Manage accounts receivable chasing and general office administration
- Raise and manage purchase orders for both the Commercial Director and Production team
- Liaise with and follow up on suppliers across both streams
- Support the Production team with schedule and calendar management
- Handle client administration, liaison, and follow-ups
- Manage calendar and diary for the Director
- Coordinate and book travel for the Director
- Manage email and correspondence for the Director
- Manage inbound customer enquiries across phone, email, and face-to-face
- Support the full customer service cycle from enquiry through to delivery
- Engage with stakeholders and liaise with suppliers
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar multifaceted office management, PA, or business support role
- Strong-willed, highly organised, and proactive
- Natural problem solver who can work autonomously with minimal direction
- Comfortable across multiple systems and platforms, and confident implementing new ones
- Professional and personable
