Business Operations Manager

About This Role

Being a force multiplier for the BizOps Director is the core of this role, picking up ambiguous, cross-functional problems and driving them to a real fix using data-driven decision making. The role suits someone who can build trust within other teams and influence change without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional initiatives from scoping through execution
• Drive accountability across teams without formal management authority, keeping initiatives moving, surfacing risks early, and ensuring deliverables ship
• Take on problems that appear as symptoms and diagnose the root cause to propose effective fixes
• Partner directly with functional leaders to diagnose inefficiencies in team operations
• Analyze data to size a problem and diagnose its root cause
• Design and implement fixes such as new agentic workflows, automations, and SOPs
• Lead and facilitate department operations, including weekly business reviews
• Action on diagnosed daily metric alerts

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in business operations, strategy & operations, consulting, or a high-growth startup operations role
• Track record of owning ambiguous problems end-to-end
• Strong stakeholder management: ability to build credibility quickly within teams and drive change without formal authority
• Comfortable with data and analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communication; a structured thinker who can bring clarity to messy situations
• Bias toward action, low ego, thrives in zero-to-one ambiguity
