About This Role
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI. The Business Intelligence Developer will transform data into actionable business insights and collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable business insights
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs, and translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions
- Provide architecture, design, and configuration support for Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices
- Work directly with clients to provide consulting, technical guidance, solution recommendations, and ongoing support for analytics initiatives
- Implement reporting standards, optimize dashboard performance, and promote data governance, usability, and self-service analytics capabilities
- Support end-to-end project delivery, including development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-production support for Power BI solutions
- Stay current with advancements in Power BI and modern analytics technologies to continuously enhance reporting capabilities and user experience
Requirements
- 3 - 6 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale Power BI solutions
- Strong expertise in Power BI capabilities, including: Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query (M), Advanced Data Modeling, Row-Level Security (RLS), Performance Optimization, Dashboard Design and Data Storytelling
- Experience designing and managing reusable semantic models and governed reporting assets
- Strong understanding of KPI definition, metric standardization, and business-rule implementation
- Understanding of medallion architecture, ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts
- Strong SQL skills with experience working across large and complex datasets
- Experience implementing report lifecycle management, deployment pipelines, version control, and release management
- Understanding of data security, data privacy, access management, and governance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to transform data challenges into actionable insights and present recommendations to business and technical audiences
- Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders to deliver analytics and reporting solutions
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with integrating Power BI with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or enterprise AI platforms
