Business Intelligence Analyst

About This Role

This role is for a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze internal client needs, produce project plans, extract and process data, and implement web applications and Power BI visibility. The role suits a candidate with strong technical skills in data and web application development, who can also collaborate and lead new tool development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal client needs and produce appropriate project plans
• Extract, import, process, and document source data
• Implement data sets for Power BI visibility
• Be responsible for the design, implementation, and documentation of new web applications
• Support and improve existing IT systems (web and desktop applications)
• Provide leadership in the development of new tools until their commissioning
• Actively collaborate in the team's continuous improvement activities and initiatives
• Analyze and improve production processes via digital tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or other relevant related experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience
• Very good knowledge in several of the following areas: Transact-SQL, SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), BI – data warehouse, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, Database modeling
• Ability to build partnerships with key players from different departments
• Ability to work in a team, autonomous, organized, respects good practices, and meets deliverables
• Flexibility to work on multiple tasks/projects at once
• Proficiency in French and English
