Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Type: Contract 12 months Duration

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven business decisions through data analysis, reporting, visualization, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with large data sets, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, providing clear visualizations and explanations of findings.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, issues, and actionable insights.
- Write, execute, and analyze SQL queries against relational databases.
- Create ad-hoc and standard SSRS reports to document and communicate analysis results.
- Utilize SQL, MS Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI , and other data analysis tools to work with large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business intelligence and data analysis requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate business needs to improve workflow processes and reporting efficiency.
- Troubleshoot Business Intelligence tools and optimize performance, usability, and functionality.
- Validate the accuracy and integrity of data sets, reports, and analytical outputs.
- Organize, classify, and synthesize data to identify key business issues and opportunities.
- Interpret analytical results and recommend appropriate solutions and options.
- Develop and maintain applications and automation scripts using Visual Basic (VB) to streamline reporting and data analysis activities.
- Support software development activities including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field , or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Experience with MS Access and data analysis/reporting tools.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or SSRS .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to work with large data sets and identify meaningful trends and insights.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Visual Basic (VB) .
- Experience developing automation scripts for reporting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with software development processes, including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
- Interest in AI tools and emerging AI technologies used in business intelligence and analytics.
