Job Requirements Business Development Manager – Cold Store Warehousing Location: Netherlands (Flexible with travel to sites as needed) Lineage is the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions, employing over 25,000 colleagues globally. Well known for our leading market position in temperature-controlled warehousing. To continuously expand our business and add even more value for our customers, we are hiring a Business Development Manager with a focus on our Cold Store Warehouses.
The Role This position combines tactical sales activities to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for our Cold Stores and also a strategic focus on developing new business opportunities. You will also work with existing Lineage accounts and work together with sales colleagues for our Integrated Solutions department.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Consultative selling with a focus on our Cold Store Warehouses
- Developing new business and maintain and expand current accounts
- Managing inbound sales enquiries and formal tenders
- Creating tailored proposals for customer requirements
- Building long-term partnerships with both new and existing accounts
- Maintaining accurate records in the sales database (CRM)
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong B2B sales experience (consultative selling) with proven new business generation
- Cold store knowledge/experience is a must
- Experience working to targets in a structured, professional environment
- Proven ability to build and convert a sales pipeline
- Broader European logistics experience
- Fluent in English and preferable in Dutch too
