We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in Logistics & Chemical & Tank Logistics Solutions (LCS) business in Korea.
This is a commercial, hunter-focused role where you will take full ownership of developing new business, building pipelines, and converting opportunities into revenue—particularly within chemical, tank container, and specialized cargo logistics .
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across chemical, tank container, and specialized logistics markets
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline , from prospecting through to deal closure
- Actively engage with chemical shippers, traders, and tank NVOCCs to expand business
- Develop tailored logistics solutions (tank, bulk, specialized cargo, end-to-end logistics)
- Lead end-to-end commercial activities, including pricing, negotiation, and contract discussions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets
- Provide regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and market insights
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, chemical logistics, or tank container logistics (sales/BD)
- Strong hunter mindset with a track record of winning new business
- Experience in building pipelines and generating new revenue
- Ability to independently manage the full sales lifecycle
- Good communication skills in English
- Highly self-driven, commercially minded, and results-oriented
✅ Preferred:
- Experience in tank container / ISO tank logistics
- Existing network within chemical shippers or logistics partners
Compensation
- Flexible and performance-driven , depending on revenue contribution and business potential
- Candidates with an existing pipeline or immediate revenue capability will be considered at a higher range
